How many attendees will be at the Conference?
We expect about 150-200 participants at the Conference. This varies for each event/discussion at the Conference. Please request for more information if you would like us to assist in facilitating meetings with anyone present to ensure you receive maximum benefit from the day.

When should I pay for the Conference?
Payment must be paid prior to the Conference. Payment is due in full upon registration. Your entry to the event will not be guaranteed until payment has been received. All discounts will be applied to the main Conference only; fee (excluding add ons) cannot be combined with any other offer, and must be paid in full at time of registration. Group discount is available to individuals employed by the same organization.

How should I pay for the Conference?
Payment can be made online by credit card, via wire transfer (net banking), cheque or demand draft. Please see the registration procedure in detail.

Are the meals included?
Yes, all refreshments and Conference lunches have been carefully selected to offer you the best in banqueting. Please refer to our Conference schedule for meal timings.

What is the profile of attending delegates at the Conference?
This Conference aims to bring together key executives with extensive interests in the legal outsourcing industry. The attending buyer segment would include Law Firm Partners, General Counsels and other senior In-house Counsels from leading US, UK and Canada based companies; while the vendor community will be represented by senior most executives from leading LPO vendors from countries like India, Bangladesh, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Israel, Mauritius, and South Africa. The Conference would also invite delegates from government departments and several associations such as American Bar Association, NYSBA and other US State Bar Associations, USPTO, American Paralegal Associations, TiE, Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, Society of Indian Legal Firms, NASSCOM, to name a few. Thus, it is our endeavour to bring the most significant executives from both the buyer and vendor communities together on a common platform to enable them to engage in meaningful and strategic dialogues to further their business interests.

What is the One-on-One Meeting concept?
Our "One-on-One Meeting" concept is a unique time-saving exercise that aims to provide pre-scheduled business meetings between qualified buyers and vendors. This invite will be extended only to the top most executives of law departments and law firms, capable of off-shoring, and to vendors with cutting edge infrastructure to meet buyer demands. The vendors will be able to invest quality time in exclusive business dialogues with the most significant executives in the industry. Hours invested during these dialogues could optimally enhance the sales process for the vendor community with benefits lasting up to 6-9 months post this Conference. The organizers would coordinate the entire process of organizing a One-on-One meeting for you. The meeting itinerary will be provided to both the parties one week prior to the Conference, allowing them to fully research and prepare for these One-on-One business meetings. What is the LPO Office Tour?
The "LPO Office Tour" is an essential part of our two day Conference program and incorporates visit/s to the offices of legal off-shoring companies of various stature. This would provide buyers an exclusive opportunity to get real-time insights into the working of LPOs. It would also be an ideal platform for LPO vendors to exhibit and share their wherewithal including existing infrastructure, teams, training tools, IT structure, applied methodology, and security tools with buyers. Being an on-demand service, the organizers would coordinate this entire office visit with the itinerary being provided to both the parties, a week out from the Conference, thereby allowing them to fully prepare for the office tours.

What is a Pilot Project Program?
Short projects are a good way to judge the quality of work. This Conference would unlock the potential of the global LPO industry in its true sense as it aims to offer participating buyers a real time opportunity to examine the work capabilities of LPO vendors. Through issuing Pilot Projects before/after the Conference, buyers not only explore multiple vendors at once, but can also cross examine their work methodology, and project outcome – saving precious time, resources, and money, eventually leading to a much-informed business decision. Similarly, this would give LPO vendors an opportunity to showcase their operational capabilities leading to possible client acquisition – thereby, significantly reducing their sales-life cycle. Further, this would be an advantageous exercise for those buyers and vendors who are contemplating establishing newer verticals as part of their business strategy.

Can I commission a pilot project and if yes, how?
Buyers participating in the Conference can request for short term pilot projects (maximum two per buyer) to be executed by the LPO vendor(s). Buyers can provide the said vendor(s) with existing, albeit redacted, assignments of their firms, detailing specific responsibilities that they would like the vendor to perform, and can also set out criterion such as time and skill involved, level of quality and speed expected, confidentiality norms, to name a few. Based upon this information, LPO vendors participating in the Conference will be invited to work on the pilot projects. A complete profile of vendors willing to execute the pilot projects would then be sent to the buyers who can then make an informed decision and sign the NDA with the vendor/s undertaking the project/s.

What is the Global LPO Mall?
To help vendors showcase their expertise to the buyer’s community, and to give the buyers ample opportunity to explore the range of services as well as options available in the LPO/KPO space, there will be an exhibition area which we have designated as the Global LPO Mall. This exhibition zone will have different sections including:

  • Display Zone – This zone will feature Indian vendors who will display sample work projects in their areas of expertise in the form of CDs, presentations, wall-ups and brochures and can also display relevant information about their infrastructure, teams, offices, etc. Buyers would come and meet them in-person at their zones.
  • Legal Software Zone This zone would feature Software/IT/ITeS companies from India, US, UK, and other destinations which are actively providing software/IT services to the LPO industry, Law Firms, and General Counsels.
  • Training Zone – This zone features LPO training institutes which have taken up the onerous task of training Indian lawyers for the LPO Industry and will be participating to demonstrate their training abilities to ensure a regular talent supply to the industry.
  • Other LPO Destinations Zone – This zone would feature LPO vendors from other countries in South Asia and Africa such as Mauritius, Philippines, Bangladesh, Kenya, Israel, South Africa, etc.

The cost of the hotel accommodation and travel is not included in the registration fee, unless specifically mentioned. What should I wear?
The dress code at the Conference is business casual. The speakers usually come in business attire.
